An iconic structure in the heart of St. Thomas is undergoing a redesign. The MCR Bridge, which originally opened in 1930, will become Canada’s first elevated park.The structure is 30 ft wide, 850 ft long and stands some 95 ft over Kettle Creek Valley. The redeveloped park will have flower beds, trees, benches, public art and a trail for walking, running and biking.
