Logistics Hub
This project involved the relocation of major site infrastructure, including an existing rail line, the fire loop servicing the property, and the main sanitary sewer. Additionally, relocation of key infrastructure and the construction of a new fire pump house and services to split incoming city service into two to feed the existing facilities.
An addition to an existing logistics hub, this building is one hundred and sixty-thousand square feet in footprint, with an eave height of fifty-eight feet to provide maximum volumetric storage for paper products. The building incorporates an internal reduced elevation and rail spur, allowing grade level unloading and loading together with five truck accessible dock positions. The importance of maintaining existing client operations with road and rail logistics in excess of a hundred movements a day, made this an extremely challenging project.
